June 2024 Meeting at the Sherman Gardens
As usual, the June LACPS meeting will coincide with the annual SCCPE show and sale, so that means that our June Meeting will be at the Sherman Gardens!
Also, as per usual, the LACPS will have a sale table! Stop on by and check it out, or hang around and help man the booth!
Plant sales
This year DJ is a bit low on extra plants to sell, so if you have any you need to unload, this might be a good time to do so! You can either donate them to help generate funds for the LACPS, or we might be able to work out a way to sell them and roll the proceeds over to you, though that will require a diligent accounting on your part of what plants you gave, their prices and proper labeling and weeding. Keep in mind there will be deductions for the venue fees, sales taxes, etc that SCCPE must charge to make this event possible.
If anyone is interested in selling some plants and/or helping man the booth, write DJ via the contact form or on the mailing list.
When is it?
Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 10:30a.m. to 4p.m.
There is a $5 fee to enter the gardens.
Where will it be?
Sherman Library & Gardens, 2647 East Coast Hwy., Corona Del Mar, CA 92625
The show is in the only building used for such purposes, right next to the cafe/restaurant. The sales area is in front of the gift shop aka the Tea Garden as well as the Succulent Garden. Presentations and activities will be located in front of the bog garden.
